The Right Rev. Dorsey W. M. McConnell, Bishop of Pittsburgh, visited St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Feb. 17 for the 10 a.m. service. A reception followed in the church undercroft.

McConnell was elected as the 8th Bishop of Pittsburgh on April 21, 2012. He was consecrated and ordained a bishop on Oct. 20, 2012, and was formally seated at Trinity Cathedral on Nov. 9, 2012.

His visit was hosted by the Rev. David L. Kinsey, the Priest-in-Charge of St. Stephen’s. The visit was McConnell’s first official trip to McKeesport since his installation in October.
