Hear ye, hear ye

  • the-simpsons_111493_14We are collecting non-perishable food items for a local food bank until Christmas. Please bring your items and place them into the tote by the ushers’ table at the back of the church.

2014 Episcopal calendars are available from Bev Tkach or Harriet West. The cost is $3.

  • Please check your name, address, phone number and email in the current parish directory. Notify Sharon in the church office if there are any changes. We will soon be publishing the 2014 directory.

We are seeking candidates to serve on the vestry. If you are interested, please see Karen Slobodian.

  • There are extra Christmas memorial flower fund forms available on the ushers’ table.

Orders will be taken for spiced nuts until Dec. 15. Sales benefit the purchase of two new fryers for the fish fry.

  • An anonymous donor has challenged the congregation with a $500 donation to the roof fund. He will give another check of the same size if we collect $500 in donations by the end of December.

Everybody loves a nut!

squirrel-clipart-9St. Stephen’s is selling spiced walnuts to raise money to purchase some new kitchen equipment.

They are $7 for a half-pound or $13 for one pound. They make a great Christmas gift for your “nutty” friends, or a nice snack to serve your guests at Christmas and New Year’s parties. (Or for you to snack on!)

Please place your order with the church office at 412-664-9379 or leave it in the collection basket. We must have all orders by Sunday, Dec. 15 and the nuts will be delivered on Sunday, Dec. 22. (Important: We need to have your payment with your order.)
