The guest speaker will be Diane Dahm, director of prevention, education, and outreach at the Center for Victims.
The program is at 6 p.m. Aug. 24 and will last an hour. Diane will discuss the lasting effects of violence in our community, and how we might help.
There is no charge for this event, but attendees are asked—as they are able—to bring food to share with everyone at the dinner. Utensils, cups, and plates will be provided.
The presentation will be followed by a potluck dinner, a time for reflection and connecting with other members of our community.
All are welcome, and encouraged to attend.
The event will be in the Fellowship Hall (downstairs) at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 220 Eighth Ave. (corner of Walnut Street). Parking is free.
