Bible study Sept. 15 on Book of Exodus

The Tuesday evening bible study starts up Sept. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Our first study will be Exodus chapters 1, 2 and 3, which covers the enslavement of the Israelites, the birth of Moses, his fleeing after murdering someone, and the burning bush incident.

This is a lot to cover, but it all frames the epic founding story of Israel. We will have fun understanding how the scripture speaks to each of us.

Please take time to read Exodus chapters 1, 2 and 3 before the bible study. In order to honor everyone’s time, we will start promptly at 7 p.m. and wrap up at 9 p.m., no matter where we are in the discussion. —Fr. Ted

“Welcome Back” Sunday, Sept. 13

Vacation season is winding down and things are getting back to normal — please make plans to join us on Sunday, Sept. 13 for our annual “Welcome Back” service and “Picnic in the Park”-ing lot.

Following the 10 a.m. service, we’ll get together for lunch. The church will provide the hot dogs and hamburgers — people attending the picnic should bring a side dish or dessert.
