The wardens and vestry of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church are pleased to announce that on Dec. 15, God willing and the people consenting, the Right Rev. Dorsey W.M. McConnell, Bishop of Pittsburgh, will ordain the Rev. Brandon Mozingo to the priesthood.
The celebration begins at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s, 220 Eighth Ave. at Walnut Street, McKeesport. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Brandon currently serves as deacon-in-charge of St. Stephen’s and also ministers to other area Episcopal churches through the Mon Valley Mission. He previously served as parish administrator for Trinity Cathedral, Pittsburgh, and as a chaplain for the Seamen’s Church Institute, serving merchant mariners working on the Upper Ohio, Allegheny, Monongahela and Kanawha rivers.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy and a former hospital chaplain in the Atlanta VA Health Care System, Brandon is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., where he earned an M.A. in theology.
